Great traction.

My prior X5 ran 235/65R17 tires and the YK740GTX was a perfect tire choice with exceptional wet road characteristics, especially in stopping ability and resistance to hydroplaning. They made it to about 85% of their mileage warranty. My current X5 uses 255/50R19 size tires and I find these are more inclined to hydroplane. Their wet road traction for braking though is still extremely good. I am on my second set of these with the first set needing replacement after about 51,000 miles. I will continue to purchase the 740GTX in the future as they are still the best tire for the money.

These tires have exceeded our expectations. We’re impressed with their smooth ride and excellent traction on both wet and dry roads. They are remarkably quiet and still have plenty of tread left. Since we spend a lot of time driving long distances, tire quality is crucial, and these have not let us down.
