They are not the best on icey roads .

They tend to start vibrating quite a bit around 65 MPH which takes away from the comfort value and adds to the noise level. Can get a bit squirrely on wet surfaces, but not more than expected based on the tire description. I would recommend these tires, but I would want friends/family to be aware of the potential vibration and the questionable traction when wet.
