Customer Reviews
Outback
I was hesitant because of the noise comments I have read, but these are as quiet as I think really possible. Road surface matters, so take that FWIW. They handle great in rain and standing water, and seem to have done very nicely with the slush we encountered on a trip. I believe I have found my new tire brand.
Element
Great tire, a little more road noise, but nothing my stereo won’t fix. They felt great on 30 miles of bad forest service roads. Gravel and terrible potholes and they just ate them up. Running them on a Honda Element and didn’t feel like they were going to leave me stranded. I would recommend these Finnish tires for anyone looking for a good all season, mixed use option.
Tacoma
Very good in dry and wet conditions. Slightly noisy due to its aggressive tread pattern, but not real bad noisy. Hasn’t snowed yet but it should do well. Will be my replacement tire for my ‘23 Lexus GX 460.
Outback
I was a bit on the fence for these, with the reviews, and not many of them. These are smooth, quiet, and cut standing water well. Driving to NOLA in a sleet storm with occasional slushy conditions was a non event. It was dark and by the time I saw the road change, I was in the slush. They cut through without drama. We live where a mud tire is more relevant than a frozen precipitation tire, but I opted for highway performance. I have no ambitions of boondocking in mud in an Outback, but will end up in a wet mess sooner than later, if I know me. So far not a single complaint, but only around 3K miles so far, so don't pay attention to my tread life rating. Very happy with the purchase and will buy them again, most likely.
Pilot
Colorado, altitude 8800'. Excellent traction, cornering and braking in snow, mud & dry conditions. Approximately 25% > noise than all seasons and worth the trade IMO.
