General GMAX RS

Get the most out of your vehicle with a tire designed with next-generation technology: the General GMAX RS.

The GMAX is an ultra-high performance summer tire designed for thrills you can count on. Plus, it's supported by several advancements in traction, handling and maintenance technologies.

Designed for maximum grip on dry and wet roads, this tire uses a sleek, directional tread pattern that features a solid center rib and wide shoulder blocks. This ensures maximum grip for hard braking and accelerating. The GMAX RS also boasts high angle void grooves, which resist moisture for near constant road contact, so the rain can't stop your fun.

Thanks to StabiliTread™ technology for reduced tread stress, you can go further with less wear. And, when it does come time to replace, the specialized replacement monitor will notify you to keep you and your vehicle safe.

General GMAX RS Features

  • Stay up-to-date on tire condition with replacement monitor technology, which notifies you when a tire change is needed
  • Drive more and worry less with StabiliTread technology designed to reduce tread stress
  • Get the most out of your grip, and prevent hydroplaning, with a specialized directional tread pattern

General GMAX RS Treadwear and Warranty

If you want the most robust protection available for your new General GMAX RS tires, consider investing in our exclusive and industry-leading Certificate.

If you do, your new tires will be covered down to 3/32″ of wear. And in the extremely unlikely event these tires sustain damage that can't be repaired, you'll get a brand new replacement GMAX RS.

(You can add our Certificate coverage in the cart of your order).

Welcome to the next generation of performance—the General GMAX RS offers unmatched ultra-high performance capabilities for drivers who want the best.

These tires grip better than any other set I've had on my car.

I have a 2002 WRX Wagon which is lowered, with Urethane bushing. The car handled well with the BFG's all seasons I had on it. It now handles much better with these summer tires.

Overall- a great tire, just do not drive with these on below 45 degrees. The tires get hard under 50 degrees and get unpredictable. Great summer tire, not for cold temperatures.

Went to these after my Eagle F1's were needing replaced at 19K miles. The Eagles would break loose if I stabbed the throttle from a roll at 35 mph, however these Generals bite much better and only break loose for a few feet before biting. With the Eagles, I was spinning for 20-30 feet before I got any kind of traction. I am very happy with these tires, you simply cant buy a better tire at this price point. My car never sees rain, however I have no doubts that these will do just fine if I get caught out in a dounpour.
