General Altimax 365 AW All-Weather Tires

No longer does the changing of seasons require the changing of tires. The General Altimax 365 AW packs some serious all-weather performance, so you can rely on your passenger car, crossover or SUV all year long.

General Altimax 365 AW Features

Crank up your ride’s all-weather performance with a set of General Altimax 365 AW tires. Designed with dependable, year-round versatility in mind, there’s a reason it’s called the 365. It can handle any weather, 365 days out of the year. From clear, sunny days to rain without end to full-on winter snow storms, this General tire can handle it all.

Combining the all-season touring features of the RT 43 and the winter-ruling prowess of the Arctic 12, the Altimax 365 AW is designed to give your vehicle undeniable touring performance that can truly handle any weather, all year long.

Starting with a classic five-rib tread pattern, the 365 AW is purpose-built to confidently take to the road in any weather condition. Featuring a sinusoidal siping system and traction teeth, the 365 has plenty of bite for winter storms that coat the roads in deep slush and snow. Meanwhile, waved longitudinal grooves provide hydroplaning resistance and additional bite for fresh powder, so whether it’s raining or snowing, you don’t have to cancel your travel plans.

Other performance features of the Altimax 365 AW include:

  • Approved for use in severe winter weather, this tire features the 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake Rating.
  • Semi-solid center rib with less siping ensures straight line stability and confident handling performance in dry weather.
  • Confident grip in rainy and snowy weather is provided by the lateral grooves.
  • Visual alignment indicators help you keep an eye on your tire’s wear, maximizing tire longevity.

General Altimax 365 AW Treadwear and Warranty

With interlocking sipes, a semisolid center rib and a computer-optimized symmetrical tread design that resists uneven treadwear, the 365 AW is an all-weather performer that lasts. That means you can count on many seasons of unrivaled all-weather performance.

This tire is backed by a 60,000 mileage warranty, but if you want to hit the roads with absolute peace of mind, you can protect your new General tires with our industry-leading exclusive Certificates. When covered by our Certificates, your new tires will be protected from the moment you leave our parking lot right down the 3/32’’ of treadwear.

And in the extremely unlikely event they fail, you’ll get a brand new replacement if it can’t be safely repaired.

(You can add our Certificate coverage in your cart!)

One tire, four seasons of use, years of driving joy. Get it all with a set of General Altimax 365 AW all-weather tires.

Tread life on the heavy Dodge Charger Pursuit (police model) was abysmal. However, on an older RAV4, the tires are holding up as expected and likely will go 40k or 50k. It appears all-weather tires are better for medium and small cars. No surprise given the softer materials. We have Michelin Cross Climates on a Murano and Santa Fe that will go 50k, it appears. All-weather tires are still a great option in northern climates, especially if you drive less than 10k a year.

These definitely reduce your gas mileage though, about 15% in my case.

So, these tires seem pretty good on snow and ice, which is why I bought them, but otherwise I'm not impressed. Vibration, poor handling, etc. I would not buy them again and I may end up just replacing them even though they have very low mileage.
